WELCOME TO THE LEE COUNTY WOOLLY WORM FESTIVAL

Come join us in Beattyville at the 19th Annual Lee County Woolly Worm Festival, Oct. 20-22, 2006, for a wonderful celebration of our mountain weather predictor, the fuzzy caterpillar or "woolly worm." A fall festival centered around the old fuzzy worm, the three-day event features food booths, craft and merchandise booths, local school and civic organization's booths, entertainment for all three days, a huge parade, and the last big automobile enthusiast car show of the season. When turning off the Slade Exit, entering Natural Bridge, and beyond to Beattyville, you will find a beautiful display of fall colors as the leaves reach their peak in the mountains. Whether you are old family or friends coming back to your roots for the weekend, or our fellow neighbors across the United States and around the globe, we welcome you to Beattyville to visit with us and enjoy the weekend. For more information, call Woolly Worm Chairman Linda Smith at 606-464-2888.
