GERALDINE BURCH
Geraldine (Campbell) Burch, 55, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2005, at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.
She was born April 25, 1950 in Oneida, KY, to the late Curt and Louise (Peters) Campbell. She was a former employee of the Owsley County PVA Office and a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Craig (& Julie) Burch of Booneville, KY, and Shane (& Tracy) Burch of Erlanger, KY; one brother, Von Campbell of Beattyville, KY; three grandchildren, Trinity Burch of Booneville, KY and Madeline Burch and Jalen Cage both of Erlanger, KY; and a host of friends and relatives.
Funeral services for Geraldine Burch were held Saturday, August 27, 2005, at 1 p.m. in the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Powlas officiating. Burial was in the Moore/Gibson Cemetery, Cow Creek, KY, with the Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
ROSA SARGENT
Rosa (Johnson) Sargent, 53, of Beattyville, KY, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2005 at the Marcum Wallace Memorial Hospital in Irvine, KY.
She was born January 12, 1952 in Lee County, KY, the daughter of Henry and Alta (Turner) Johnson. She was a cashier at Lee County Building Supply and member of the Pinecrest First Church of God.
Survivors are her husband, Jerrold Sargent, Sr. of Beattyville, KY; son, Jerrold Sargent, Jr. (Diana) of Mt. Sterling, KY; grandchildren, Brittany Sargent, Samantha Sargent, Brett Napier, Dylan Sargent, Jordan C. Durbin, Cynann Sargent; brothers and sisters, Walter Johnson (Verna), Daniel Johnson (Irene), James Johnson (Lucille), Edith Steele (Billy), Pearl Estes (Bobby), Gladys Estes (Sammy), Charles Johnson (Janice), Mary Spencer, all of Beattyville, KY, Cecil Johnson (Christine) of Ricetown, KY, Visie Dean (Ernie) of Booneville, KY, Ethel Belcher (Bobby Jack) of Jackson, KY, Martha Bubba of Maryland; dear friend, Diana Lykins of Campton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son, Jason Paul Sargent, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
Private funeral services for Rosa Sargent were held Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Newnam Funeral Home Chapel with Elmer Sargent, Jr. officiating with burial in the Johnson Cemetery on Spencer Ridge Road.
Pallbearers were Richard Phillips Jr., Randy Phillips, Darrell Steele, Michael Johnson, Dennis Johnson, Paul White and Timmy Dean. Honorary pallbearer was Diana Lykins.
