- SHARON R. BRAY GENTRY
Sharon R. Bray Gentry, 53, of Beattyville, KY, passed away Friday, August 19, 2005 at her residence.
She was born January 26, 1952 in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Cecil and Betty (Coomer) Bray. She was a cab driver and member of the Butler Ridge Pentecostal Church.
Survivors are brothers, Charles Bray (Wanda) and Jack Bray, all of Beattyville, KY; Cora Gentry and Marcella Fox (Jr.) all of Beattyville, KY, Edith Smith of Richmond, KY; nephews, Shane Coomer (Kim) of Richmond, KY, C.C. Bray (Samantha) of Detroit, MI, Jason Bray (Kristy) and Jordan Bray, all of Beattyville, KY; nieces (Shafawna Fox (Ryan) of Bloomington, IN, Nikki Horn (Jordan) and CaSondra Bray, all of Beattyville, KY, Bridget Mays (Jesse) of Richmond, KY; great nephews, Logan, Jonathan, Jacob; great nieces, LaShaina and Allyssa; also two uncles and four aunts, and a special caregiver, Janet Coomer.
Funeral services for Sharon Gentry were held Sunday, August 21, 2005 at 2 p.m. in the Newnam Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Naomi Calvert and Chaplain Paul Dyer officiating. Burial was in the St. Helens Cemetery with Newnam Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Jason Bray, Jordan Bray, Shane Coomer, Ryan Baker, Jordan Horn, Larry Campbell, Jimmy Coomer and Jesse Mays. Honorary pallbearers were Janet Coomer, Donna Fields, Mary Lou Campbell, Kristy Bray, Irene Dixon, Mary Best and Shirley Edwards.
