- WILLIAM “BILL” J. HAMILTON
William “Bill” J. Hamilton, 84, husband of Ruth (Botner) Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Lexington, KY.
He was born March 25, 1921, in Owsley County, KY, to the late Lester and Nellie Isabelle (Mainous) Hamilton. He was a former mining clerk for Pendletons, a truck driver for Gulf Oil company, a lifetime resident of Owsley County, KY, and a deacon of the Rock Springs Primitive Baptist church in Green Hall, KY.
Survivors are his wife of 65 years, Ruth Hamilton; one son, Donald (& Sandra) Hamilton of Springboro, OH; one daughter, Maria (& Dick) Edwards of Booneville, KY; two sister, Virginia Begley of Booneville, KY and Bonnie Faye Enos of West Chester, OH; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of friends and relatives.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Wendell Hamilton, four brothers, Ralph, Russell, Donald and Paul Hamilton and one sister, Ruby Drake.
Funeral services for Bill Hamilton were held Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 4 p.m. in the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Mickey Wilson officiating. Burial was in the Hamilton Family Cemetery, Booneville, KY, with Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Mike and Dustin Hamilton, Mark and David Edwards, Joe Manning and Andrew Call.

WILBERT HALL “TIB” EVANS
Wilbert Hall “Tib” Evans, 81, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Owsley County, KY, passed away Friday, April 15, 2005 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
He was born in Booneville, KY, on August 26, 1923, the son of the late Elmer and Birdie (Hall) Evans. He was a former salesman for the Don Myers Shoe Company in Lexington, KY, a retired U.S. Army Veteran, having served in World War II, and a member of the Porter Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington, KY.
Survivors are his wife, Mildred (Chaney) Evans of Lexington, KY; one brothers, Donnie Evans of Booneville, KY; three sisters, Ruth Combs of Lexington, KY, Ruby Moorage of Pebworth, KY and Wilma Marshall of Booneville, KY; and a host of friends and relatives.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed and Clarence Evans and one sister, Emma Duff.
Funeral services for Tib Evans were held Monday, April 18, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garett Thomas officiating. Burial was in the Evans Cemetery, Pebworth, KY, with Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

RUTH ANN HARVEY DAVID SON
Ruth Ann Harvey Davidson, 66, of Booneville, KY, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2005 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
She was born in Paintsville, Ky., on February 14, 1939, to Blanche Marie (Price) Harvey and the late Herschel Benton Harvey. She was an avid quilt maker, a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Vietnam War, and a member of the Booneville First Baptist Church.
Survivors are her mother, Blanche Marie Harvey; two brothers, David (& Verna) Harvey of Lexington, KY, and Paul (& Sharon) Harvey of Booneville, KY; one sister Patricia (& George) McCoy of Ratcliff, KY; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and relatives.
Funeral services for Ruth Ann Davidson will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Military Rites by the Three Forks Post #11296 VFW, in the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Lacefield officiating. Burial will be in the Brandenburg Cemetery, with the Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

R.B. RITCHIE
R.B. Ritchie, 72, of Beattyville, KY, husband of Irene (Slone) Ritchie, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at his residence.
He was born June 9, 1932, in Hindman (Knott County), KY, to the late Robert Carson and Dora Bell (Campbell) Ritchie. He was a retired coal miner for the AC Riddles Company in Hindman, KY, a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean War, and a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Beattyville, KY.
Survivors are his wife of 21 years, Irene Ritchie; three sons, Denzil Ritchie of Irvine, KY, Boyd Ritchie of Kendallville, IN, Dan Ritchie of Beattyville, KY; three daughters, Lillie Hall and Jo Slone both of Beattyville, KY, and Marlene Holden of Rome City, IN; one brother, Herman Ritchie of Fisty, KY; two sisters, Norma Jean Lass and Elmira Ritchie both of Chicago, IL; 25 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and a host of friends and relatives.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two daughters, Teresa Ritchie and Helen Bowling; one stepson, Roy Slone; three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services for R.B. Ritchie, with Military Rites by the Three Forks Post #11296 VFW, were held Friday, April 22, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Faith Baptist Church in Beattyville, Ky, with the Rev. Paul Hubbs officiating. Burial was in the Ritchie Cemetery, Beattyville, KY, with the Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Joe Riley, Lee Hall, Bo Kelley, Nick Stevens, Michael Estes and Bill Sexton.
